BOONE – “Awesome people even if it doesn’t look like much,” is how one Google reviewer described the Appalachian Wesley Foundation, home to the school’s United Methodist campus ministry.
That was before the organization embarked on a major interior renovation. Now, visitors encounter modern fixtures, lighting and finishes along with easier access to the second floor.
The red brick building on the campus of Appalachian State University has welcomed college students since the 1960s.
Take a tour of improvements that will enable Wesley to fulfill its mission well into the future. The Foundation’s United Methodist Loan Program supported this project through a partnership that will help App Wesley equip young people for lives of Christian leadership and service.
